Twin Lock BCP Kopis Plate
Twin Lock BCP Kopis Plate are intended for use in-
- Displaced extra-articular and intra-articular distal radius fractures, and corrective osteotomies of the distal radius
- Volar Barton fractures
- Palmarly displaced extra-articular fractures (Smith fractures)
- Dorsally displaced extra-articular (Colles fractures) and comminuted articular fractures
- Intra-articular and extra-articular distal radius fractures with extension into the shaft
- The Radial styloid plate if indicated for management of radial styloid fractures.
- The Dorsal plate is indicated for use with dorsal displaced periarticular fractures of the distal radius.
Twin Lock BCP Kopis offers a selection of four different plates:
- Twin Lock BCP Kopis Duraline Plates
- Twin Lock BCP Kopis Extra-Articular Plate
- Twin Lock BCP Kopis Juxta-Articular Plate
- Twin Lock BCP Kopis Dorsal Plat
- Small Holes in the plate head are for temporary fixation of plate with K wires
- Distal screws accepts both 2.7/2.4mm locking and cortical screws
- Plate is anatomically contoured
- Left/ right specific
- Oblong holes in the plate head accepts 2.7/2.4 mm cortical screw and helps in radial /ulnar translation of plate prior to definite fixation
- Oblong holes in the shaft accepts 3.5mm cortical screws and helps in proximal / distal translation of plate. It also accepts 3.5 mm locking if required.
- Proximal combi holes accepts 3.5 mm cortical screws for linear dynamic compression/ lag screw or 3.5 mm locking scre
