The Twin Lock BCP Distal Femoral Plate is indicated for use in-

  • – Buttressing multi-fragmentary distal femur fractures
  • – Supracondylar fractures, especially with metaphyseal comminution
  • – Intra-articular and extra-articular condylar fractures
  • – Fractures in osteopenic bone
  • – Nonunions and Malunions
  • – Periprosthetic supracondylar fractures with intact bone-implant interface
  • – Osteotomies of the femur
  • – Distal diaphyseal, low shaft fractures
  • – Available in 5.0mm screw system (solid and cannulated screws)
  • – Anatomically contoured plates: The plate is well contoured, requires little to no on-table plate bending
  • – Anatomically contoured plate assists with metaphyseal/diaphyseal reduction
  • – Option of cannulated self-drilling and self-tapping screws in the periarticular area
  • – The tapered rounded plate tip of the plate helps in the easy insertion of the plate
